How fortunate our community is to have so many caring and committed people trying to help everyone
Every time I see this picture, I imagine a team of superheroes ready to fly off or turn into transformers or something. Oy vey iz mir Yehuda, you are losing it in your old age, eh?
A year ago, I would considered any one of the challengers G-d sent. Who would have guessed 5 worthy challengers to Cappleman would end up running against him. How fortunate our community is to have so many caring and committed people trying to help everyone.
Kudos to all the challengers for staying professional and above the fray as supporters battled. Sometimes, it wasn’t pretty and as in all politics apparently, friendships have been frayed and worse. Moving forward into the runoffs I ask for unity, the task ahead is still formidable. My thanks and prayers are for everyone whether we battled or not. And special thanks for the challengers themselves.
What a difficult job running for office is. What a love for the people of the 46th Ward it must take to go through all that extra hard work. It is beyond my capacity, that is for sure. I truly admire all of you – Angela Clay, Erika Wozniak Francis, Justin Kreider, Jon-Robert McDowell and Marianne Lalonde – you are all amazing people.
